Straight Stop 200mm
Technical parameters:
- Dimension: 200 × 55 mm
- Thickness: 15 mm (system 28) / 12 mm (system 16)
- Material: DOMEX S355 MCD steel
The tallest of the popular versions, the 200 mm straight stop provides a rigid reference for large profiles and longer edges. Its increased height improves geometry control, especially with elements that tend to distort under heat. It is an excellent choice for larger frames, structural joints, and long assemblies where stable support and repeatable positioning are essential.
Insert the stop into the grid using a system pin to define the base, then apply two or three clamps along the edge to distribute the forces evenly. The larger contact surface keeps the edge straighter, making it easier to maintain weld lines and corner angles. After cooling, fewer corrections are needed. For long profiles, adding a second stop as an additional reference point is recommended.
The extra height provides greater stiffness and better visibility of the welding area. In series production, the 200 mm stop acts as a stable base – operators can position parts faster, and the setup is less affected by local distortions.
For large frames and long profiles where tall, stable support is required during welding.
Yes, it comes in variants compatible with both systems – simply choose the correct option in the configurator.
Arrange clamps so that the forces press the part toward the stop rather than sliding it across its surface.
Two reference points or additional stops/discs are recommended to distribute loads and maintain parallel alignment.
Clean spatter regularly, check pin and hole condition, and store in a dry environment to maintain precision and durability.
